Ledger Hardware Wallet Setup Guide

Step 1: Unbox Your Ledger Device

Begin by unboxing your Ledger hardware wallet. Inside the package, you will find the device, a USB cable, and a recovery sheet. Ensure you have all components before proceeding.

Step 2: Connect Your Ledger Device

Use the provided USB cable to connect your Ledger device to your computer. The device will power on automatically.

Step 3: Initialize Your Device

Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your Ledger device. You will be prompted to choose a PIN code. Ensure this PIN is memorable but secure.

Step 4: Write Down Your Recovery Phrase

Your device will generate a 24-word recovery phrase. Write this down on the provided recovery sheet and store it in a secure location. This phrase is crucial for recovering your wallet if the device is lost or damaged.

Step 5: Install Ledger Live

Download and install the Ledger Live application from the official Ledger website. This application will allow you to manage your crypto assets securely.

Step 6: Set Up Ledger Live

Open the Ledger Live application and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account. You will need to connect your Ledger device and enter your PIN code.

Step 7: Add Accounts

Within Ledger Live, navigate to the 'Accounts' section and click 'Add account'. Select the cryptocurrency you wish to manage and follow the prompts to add the account to your Ledger device.

Step 8: Secure Your Device
